Hello Friends, Family & Fans near and far! We hope you are safe and well tonight. We’re all facing this Covid-19 virus situation across the country. As per the Governor today, New York State has been shut down for all non-essential employees and everyone is required to stay at home and work from home. Jonathan and I have been hunkering down here at our JonJohn’s Bakery homestead with our little girl HOPE! and this has been a blessing in spite of the challenging circumstances. Schools have been shut down since last week. Our weekday farmer’s markets have all been shut down. We’re hoping they allow the Rochester Public Market to remain open so that we will have the opportunity to bring our baked goods to market next weekend (Saturday, march 28th if all goes well- Follow our Facebook page for updates!). In the meantime we are healthy and well and our bakery is clean and running smoothly so we’re transitioning to a pick-up order and delivery service through this shut-down and looking forward to our weekly markets getting back up and running soon! So many small businesses have been shut down and the financial burdens for many employees and business owners across New York State and throughout the country are heavy. We’re encouraging everyone who has the ability, to reach out and support their local small businesses during this time! Consider placing an order for an assortment of treats or your favorite cake to enjoy with your loved ones in your home to brighten up your day and ours! We’re offering special package promotions and waiving our local delivery fees until further notice. We have peanut butter balls, bourbon balls, our classic cookies, chocolate brownies and your favorite JonJohn’s Bakery cakes made fresh to order and deliver!
