Amazing Sweets

I met the owner, who introduced me to his husband and a couple of their employees who were all so kind and friendly. He told me a little about his business and it was obvious he bakes with so much love and is so proud of the AMAZING sweets he makes for the world. He took time to speak with me and made my visit feel so special/welcoming (it didn’t hurt that they were playing Chaka Khan <3 in the back)!. I will definitely be spreading the word and will be back SOON! Thank you for the kindness and just being amazing people.

Desserts are superb!

The vibe and energy that Jonathan exudes is always kind, warm, and welcoming. His spirit is genuine and I’m always drawn to his gentle enthusiasm! Not to mention, all of his desserts are superb! I’m a fan!

Yummy Peach Cobbler

I just got home and had a taste….it is soooo good. I’m going to get relaxed, have a big piece with my french vanilla ice cream and send you a pic!

Most delicious cake I have ever eaten!

My daughter and son-in-law bought me one of your gluten free chocolate cakes for my 80th birthday.  It was beautiful with fresh flowers on top. The most important part was that it was the most delicious cake I have ever eaten.  We had 8 people for my birthday dinner and EVERYONE raved at how good it was.  It was deep dark chocolate and was really moist with chunks of chocolate in it.  It was, without a doubt, the best gluten free cake I have eaten in 25 years as a celiac.  I would recommend it to anyone whether they require gluten free or not.  I’ve told literally everyone I know to order from JonJohn’s Bakery.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being the highlight of my 80th birthday.

Grilled cheese sandwich to die for!

That grilled cheese sandwich was to die for!!!  I took a bite of my daughter’s last night, and only wish I had gotten one for myself too!  Luckily, I had gotten myself a peanut butter ball as an appetizer so all was right in the world.  Delicious goodies!

Incredible Organic Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls

A friend ordered a tray of organic peanut butter balls as a gift for me which I received yesterday. First, thanks for making them completely organic.  That’s a treat for me as I can only get completely organic things if I go to NYC or Toronto or make it myself. It’s hit or miss here in Rochester,  Second of all, they are incredible!! I have never been a fan of peanut butter and chocolate as a combination.  I only tried one of the peanut balls because it was a gift, that someone had gone to great length on my behalf. I was astounded and pleasantly surprised. It is quite rich and I could probably only eat one a day, but they are delicious and I have a 10 year old who completely agrees. She got one in her lunch pack for today and she was ecstatic.  I will peruse your website and be in touch to see if you can make a treat for our family.

Your pies were a big HIT!

Even with all the normal, delicious food, everyone chose (at least) one slice of pie. No one was disappointed. And I would like to thank you for the peanut butter balls… truly fantastic! You must have a sixth sense to know peanut butter items are among my most favorite.  I hope you had a chance to enjoy your Thanksgiving. You sure helped ours!

Yesterday, you asked for me to let you know how my friends liked the vegan Beyond Chocolate cake you made for my friend’s birthday. Well….they LOOOOOVED it and so did I!!!

The birthday girl is fussy about her chocolate cake and she said it was just perfect — rich, deep chocolate and not overly sweet — and the special touch of the gorgeous flowers made her smile.

Cake was delicious beyond description!

The staff was extremely friendly.  This was my first purchase from them and it was very enjoyable.  Also, the Mac & cheese was excellent and the cake was delicious beyond description.

Amazing food!

Amazing food ! The best chocolate cake I’ve ever  had; Grandma’s Breakfast cake – yum; oatmeal cranberry cookies – soft and chewy and delicious.  Jonathan and John (and their crew) are all about customer service and satisfaction.  You won’t go away without a smile on your face and lots of delicious food in your belly.  Did I mention the peach cobbler?  And the huge portions?  Generous beyond belief.

The frosting was heavenly

Thank you so much for the delectable chocolate cake!  After my husband and I devoured almost half of it last night I decided I had to get the rest out of the house.  I shared the rest with my co-workers today.  We all agree, it was moist and chocolaty, not too sweet and the frosting was heavenly 🙂

Yesterday at the South Wedge Market you gave me a Almond Joy ball. I have to tell you it was out of this world! I have been purchasing baked goods from you every week and have never been disappointed. My exercise class is not happy after I have tried the samples. I make them work harder! Fell in love with…

I was Very happy to discover your bakery at the Clothesline Fest Saturday, where my husband and I picked up your oatmeal craisin cookie, peanut butter balls, and sweet potato pocket. The oatmeal cranberry cookies…my husband and I fell in love with them! We loved everything and can’t wait to visit you at the Brighton farmers market! Looking forward to sampling your other treats!

I had the Pecan Chocolate Chip cookies at the West Side Farmer’s Market on Tuesday and it was TO DIE FOR!!! As I was walking into work today that cookie came to mind so I will be making my way to the South Wedge Market to pick up a couple today! Thanks JonJohn’s!

I go to the West Side Farmer’s Market at St. Monica’s Church almost every Tuesday and the highlight of my shopping is JonJohn’s Bakery! I drool over their variety of sweets (while knowing they’re somewhat healthy) and always come home with treats for myself and my husband! He especially loves the sweet potato tarts and I especially love the awesome peanut butter balls and fruit cobblers! Simply the very best ever!

I used to think that I was a popular guy at parties until I starting showing up with JonJohn’s Chocolate Cakes. Well, now I need a separate computer to hold all my engagements! This Beyond Chocolate Cake is simply the very best EVER!

More than 5 stars!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! JonJohn’s has been making the most delicious desserts for years. Their peanut butter balls, cookies and blueberry cobbler are some of the few things I love that they make. I live out of town now but always looking forward to visiting the guys and enjoying their desserts at every family function. These are the best desserts in the Rochester area for sure! Love these desserts and guys!

This is the BEST carrot cake I have ever had….

Spreading the word and spreading the love for JonJohn’s Bakery. I bought a small carrot cake from John & Jonathan at Brighton Farmer’s market and brought it to work the next day. Beyond the “Where’d you get this?” and “Where are they?” questions, I got an order–not a request–to pick one up for a co-worker next time I’m at JonJohn’s spot! Good thing I like my friend, because I will. But you may have to remind me! QUOTE; “This is the BEST carrot cake I have ever had. And I’m a connoisseur.”

My heart said yes….

I recently had lemon cake from JonJohn’s Bakery that was out of sight! My 7 yr-old grandson simply looked at me and said, “Can I take some to school for snack?” While my heart said yes, my mouth wanted to say no because it was sooo…. delicious! Great food and great people. Love the food and desserts! Simply marvelous!
