First, a note of thanks to all our friends who have helped spread the love for our desserts. November brought many opportunities for us to connect with friends and so many others, first at the Christkindl Market in Canandaigua and then at the URMC Friends of Strong Pre-Black Friday Holiday sale!
We braved the first snow of the year and the coldest weekend to date to share delicious desserts at the Christkindl festival. Luckily what goes best with hot chocolate? Our Ho-Ho cake and delicious cookies! A big shout-out to all those who braved the cold with us to enjoy their yearly favorites.
What is HoHo Cake? Three layers of heavenly chocolate cake, fresh whipped cream, topped with chocolate ganache and chocolate chunks which equals a whole lotta gooey-goodness.
In addition to our infamous Ho-Ho Cake, many visitors return year after year to Christkindl and look forward to our Peanut Butter Balls, cookie confections, and our classic family favorite; Sweet Potato Pie. This is a Thanksgiving tradition for Jonathan’s family and we love bringing it back for the holidays so others can make it part of their holiday tradition as well. Make sure to order one to share with family and friends this Holiday season!
It was an honor to be invited this year to be part of the Friends of Strong Hospital “Pre – Black Friday Sale” as the featured bakery!
Again, the HoHo cake was the fan-favorite and our soft-baked sugar cookies were a huge hit, along with chocolate-dipped cookies featuring festive sugar toppings, our locally famous Bourbon Balls, Cinnabon Apple Cobbler, and the beloved Grandma’s Breakfast Cake!
Without a doubt our favorite part of doing events, markets, and festivals is interacting with our customers, who reward us over and over again through their kind comments, happy faces, and excitement about enjoying (and sharing) their favorite JonJohn’s Bakery confections. These friends have spread the word to other friends, who have found us and been excited to share their connection to us. For your love and support, we have nothing but love and gratitude. It is all of you who have helped make this year, and so many others, a fabulous experience. Our JonJohn’s Bakery community is what makes baking late into the night, deliriously frosting cookies, and sometimes deliriously bickering with each other, worth it! We could not be more thankful.
